While it has the impeccable service and amazing food of a fine dining restaurant, it has a much more casual and comfortable atmosphere.What Our Friends Are Saying Michelin guide: "The smart bar is a place for pre-meal drinks and snacks; well-spaced tables provide a feeling of luxury and elegance; and there’s a chef’s counter where you can watch the team prepare your premium tasting menu. Top-notch British produce is used in unfussy modern dishes with a classic heart and the occasional playful touch, and strong, punchy flavours shine through. The dishes are often finished at the table with a flourish, while the well-drilled serving team explain their make-up. The sommelier, meanwhile, has a natural skill for gauging tastes and price limits."The Infatuation: "And then there’s the food. Nothing here reads kitchen-ego. It’s food you want to eat. Quail with summer vegetables and cabbage pesto is as delicious as it sounds. Yes, it’s a bit fancy. And a hand will appear to pour your duck tea broth for you. But it’s also really nice. The same goes for the ham wrapped rabbit with a stuffed courgette flower. There’s no mystery or smart-arse ‘Rabbit Running In Petals’ type descriptions. The food sounds good on the menu.
