Le Chick What Our Friends Are SayingThe Infatuation: "Le Chick is part cocktail bar and part chicken restaurant and uses a lot of familiar design trends like concrete, a pink neon sign, and cutting boards in place of plates. They have an outdoor patio too, which is more of a nightlife scene on the weekends. But inside they do great rotisserie and fried chicken, but if you’re a burger person, skip the bird and go with the royale with cheese. It’s what a fast-food burger would taste like if fast-food burgers actually cared what they tasted like."TimeOut: "In the wake of Federal Donuts departure, a new chicken option emerges on NW 24th Street, albeit a different variation than Federal’s lovely fried chicken sandwich (Le Chick does serve a crunchy version of that too, though, so don’t worry). Rotisserie chicken is the house specialty at Wynwood’s Le Chick. It comes out juicy and flavorful—sans any sides—in a heaping half-chicken portion. If you don’t like that, go for the classic fried chicken or the ribs. And though it may seem like a boring choice, we highly recommend the Royale with Cheese: two juicy, smash-patties buried in American cheese on a fluffy house-baked bun. It is shockingly good for a restaurant that wants you to pay attention to its chicken. The bar has a strong cocktail program as well and would it be Wynwood without a DJ spinning trendy beats in the bare, industrial dining room? Luckily, it doesn’t seem too out of place when the late night crowd arrives."
