What was once an incredible engineering feat in the 16th century is now a v scenic landmark. It was originally built so that the town of Evora had access to clean drinking water year-round but now the way to experience the aqueduct is to walk along the path, which gives you a good perspective of the architecture and varied landscapes of Evora.
