Beaches in Europe just hit different. Biarritz (a three hour train ride from San Sebastian) has that effortlessly cool, classic beach town vibe but with like, palaces in the background. There’s surfers who come for the excellent waves but there’s also ritzy hotels and shops, which just seems very French.
