Set at the base of the Gore Range and on the edge of Piney Lake, Piney River Ranch is the ideal place for alpine activities like horseback riding, fishing, hiking and kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. Plan on taking a bumpy, 45-minute drive on a dirt road to get there, but don’t you worry, there’s plenty of views along the way.
