My Go-To Swim & Jewelry Pieces for Travel

When prepping for a trip, I’m packing with three things in mind; style, functionality, and most importantly – comfort.

Being born and raised in LA, I grew up surfing and was always hunting for swimwear that was equally supportive while on the waves and comfortable while lounging on the beach. I was frustrated in having what felt like only two purchasing options in the swimwear market: all the affordable suits felt like a commodity, but any uniquely designed pieces were extremely expensive.

I decided to design a collection and wanted the name to have meaning. SIEVA (pronounced see-vah) means ‘pretty one’. Although we’re surrounded by a plethora of options to photoshop our bodies and filter our faces, I wanted my collection to remind women that they’re beautiful in their own skin, exactly as they are.

Following this mantra, all SIEVA suits are adjustable as a ‘one size fits most’ (dress size 2-10), seamless, and loaded with mesh detail for both sexiness and comfort. Additionally, each swimsuit piece is designed in small batches, follows an eco-friendly development process, and supports a 100% female-run, minority-operated production team.

The Onyx One Piece is one of my favorites because it can easily be worn under some jean shorts on a summer day. Pair it with SIEVA’s metallic gold beach tote and surfer hat and you’re ready to roll!

Today, SIEVA has added a jewelry collection that includes 100% gold-filled and hypoallergenic pieces. Some staple pieces include the Singapore and the Mother of Pearl necklaces which can be stacked and always reminds me of my love for the ocean.
