There is a lot “more” than the Cliffs of Moher — what else to enjoy about the West Coast of Ireland.

CLIFDEN

A charming seaside town with direct access to the rocky beach. Stay at the Dolphin Beach House for incredible views and a cozy vibe. Spend the afternoon walking the rocky shores and seeing the animals sunbathing on the rocks.

After you enjoy the Cliffs of Moher, because you have to go, have a stay in the quaint town of Doolin. The city is full of charming and friendly locals all offering up a fresh slice of banoffie pie to travelers coming through. Stay at the Doolin Inn. You get to start every morning with a fresh breakfast in their glass walled breakfast room and enjoy the local dogs and donkeys. After some rest, head up to the Burren to explore the unique limestone landscape.

KENMARE

Make a trip to Killarney National Park. This is where one can learn to appreciate real beauty! The greenery is incredible, and if you park your car off the side of the road and wait a while, you will eventually be overtaken by a massive herd of sheep! Explore the local sheep farms and experience life action border collie sheep herding at Kissane Sheep Farm. You can even “adopt” or sponsor your own little lamb. After a long day of trudging through the wilds of Ireland, cozy up at Sheen Falls Lodge. Whether you rent a luxurious room in the main lodge, or rent a large cottage to share with family and friends, you are sure to get the real cozy Irish experience.
