My boyfriend and I were vacationing in Florida and spontaneously decided to extend our trip 1 more day to go to the Kanye concert. Enter: Well Traveled Club & Palihouse Miami. I quickly needed to find accommodations in Miami THAT NIGHT. I had some booking credit to use through Well Traveled. 

I searched through their Miami recs and found Palihouse. It’s located on Miami Beach, a little more up north. The major selling point for us was the pool!

Check-in was smooth at the hotel, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a hotel bar to the right of the lobby & bikes that guests can use to explore the area.

We stayed in the King room which starts at $182/night. (FL residents get a discounted rate!)

The room was so cute and retro-themed. We were greeted by a bottle of Prosecco & a sweet note (perks of Well Traveled Club.) I personally loved the little nook/seating area. There was also a full-sized fridge fully stocked.

The bed was very comfortable & the bathrooms featured a waterfall-style shower, bathrobes & C.O. Bigelow toiletries.

My favorite part of this hotel would have to be the pool area. A secluded, tropical oasis where you can unwind & drink cocktails? Count me in. We only had a few hours before the concert so we decided to come back later and go for a night swim.

For dinner we headed more south and got Cuban food at Puerto Sagua. As far as transportation, you can either Uber, take the bus, free trolley or Citibike. We were feeling particularly adventurous that day, so we ended up trying them all! Uber prices can get crazy in Miami so just be prepared and the trolley was definitely an experience to say the least… 😅 I also found that Miami buses aren’t so bad but there were some serious delays. Coming from NY I’m used to public transportation, but I’d recommend Ubers or renting a car if you can swing it.

After the concert, we came back to the hotel and decided to hit the pool. It was seriously amazing and thankfully the 6ft-pool was heated. Floating while looking up at the stars and palm trees was definitely dreamy.
